    Ramparts welcomes Colleene Wink

We are pleased to welcome Colleene Wink who joins our legal team in Gibraltar.

Colleene specialises in Gibraltar property law having established a stellar reputation in both residential and commercial aspects of property law by combining firm negotiating - ensuring that the client's needs are always paramount - and an approachable, friendly, and down to earth style, quickly putting clients at ease and ensuring they always understand the conveyancing process and legal documentation.

Colleene is a barrister who is called to both Bar in both Gibraltar and England and Wales and has sixteen years experience.  She has represented a wide range of clients - from those starting out on the property ladder to those with a wide portfolio of properties, private landlords, lending institutions, government agencies as well as both local and international developers.

Colleene started her career at one of the biggest law firms in Gibraltar, where she was invited to join the partnership after 8 years having worked there as an associate since 2001. After the birth of her second son Colleene set up and ran a successful property practice before joining the Ramparts team.

    Ramparts’ Founder, Peter Howitt stated:

"I am very pleased to welcome Colleene to the Ramparts team. Colleene's significant experience in commercial and high end residential property matters, her team spirit and client focused and friendly approach will enable her to develop a property practice that fits with our core values. In addition, Gibraltar continues to show strong economic growth and we see a lot of interest in inward investment internationally, this will lead to greater demand for property development projects that Colleene is well placed to lead with support from our corporate finance team."

    Colleene Wink added:

“I am very excited at having joined such a dynamic and forward thinking team at Ramparts which, in a competitive market, continues to attract leaders in their respective legal areas to provide the highest level of expert advise to their clients.”

News You Can Use - February 2016

    Dear clients and friends,

This is our first ever newsletter and I would like to start by thanking you for your support in the last few years - what a pleasantly surprising and successful journey it has been since I started Ramparts in April 2012. In that time, we have grown from one solitary lawyer (i.e. me!) to 14 lawyers and 20 people based in two territories - Gibraltar and the UK (Manchester).

2016 promises a lot of opportunity to develop new services and increase our usefulness and value-added services for clients. We look forward to developing our business with you this year and beyond. Thank you.
